Works great!

I agree with the other comments made about this stick. You can't beat it for the money.
As for the intermittent light problem, I discovered that the 3 AG13 batteries are in a small plactic holder. The batteries need to be taken out and reversed in the holder and the light problem is solved.

An Affordable Alternative

I was given this collapsible hiking staff as a gift at Christmas. Since then I have used it almost daily for walks with the dogs, general hiking and even as a "cane" when I pulled a muscle in my leg ( yes, I know that it warns against this!). I have found it to be of high quality, very functional, extremely versatile and well worth the price of $25.00. When compared to similar devices in the market place this one stacks up with the best and for a much lower price! The only problem that I have had is with a intermittent problem with the light. Sometimes it needs a bump to get it to come on properly. Outside of that I am very pleased and look forward to being able to obtain another one in the future.

IT IS A LIGHTWEIGHT VERY FUNCTIONABLE WALKING STICK! I HAVE BAD OSTEOARTHRITIS IN BOTH KNEE'S AND ANKLE'S. THE STICK HELP'S ME TO GET AROUND VERY WELL! SAD TO SAY MY STICK CAME UP MISSING ON OUR RETURN TRIP TO WA. STATE. WHILE VISITING RELATIVE'S IN CHICAGO I HAD A HEART ATTACK. SPENT A WEEK IN HOSPITAL. I MIS-PLACED MY STICK SOMEWHERE ALONG THE TRIP. I AM GOING TO BUY 2 THIS TIME!
